TES shows bus driver appreciation

October is Bus Driver Appreciation Month, and Tharptown Elementary School took the time to recognize and thank TES bus drivers.

“We know it’s a tough job, and they aren’t often recognized,” Principal Kelby Daniel said.

Oct. 25 the TES bus drivers visited individual classrooms and read books to the students and talked to them about the importance of their job. The students made posters and other gifts for the bus drivers to show their appreciation.

TES bus drivers are Renee Vandiver, Nancie Allen, Valerie Copeland, Shelia Simpson, Janice Pennington, Shelby Saint, Gina Wilson, Lionel Landers, Tina Little and Jeff Clark.
