Marqueta Ann Cook

Marqueta Ann Cook, age 53, of Athens, passed away June 1 at her home. Mrs. Cook was born Aug. 6, 1962, in Russellville to Charles and Virginia Smith Skidmore.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, Stephen Cook; son, Charles Cook and fiancée, Anna Catherine Richardson; daughter, Catherine Stinson and husband, Trey; parents, Charles and Virginia Skidmore; uncle, William Smith and wife, Areda; and a host of other family, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.

A Celebration of Life luncheon was held at noon June 4 at the Athens Bible School cafeteria. The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. June 3 at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 of online at www.pancan.org.
