Crabb returns to PC church

A chart-topping songwriter in Southern gospel music will be returning once again to speak at a local church.

Gerald Crabb will be the guest speaker at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, 1 Block Church Road in Phil Campbell, June 9 at 6 p.m. and June 10 at 10 a.m.

Crabb has written more than 400 songs and has had 22 national No. 1 songs. From January 1998 to December 2006, one or more of Crabb’s songs held the number one spot on the National Southern Gospel chart for 37 months.

His songs have been sung by Randy Travis, Marie Osmond, The Gaither Vocal Band and many others.

Crabb has won several awards, including the 2011 Dove Awards Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year awards.
