Danny Ray Madden Sr.

Danny Ray Madden Sr., passed away suddenly April 29.

Danny was baptized in 1962 and was a member of Mighty Presence I Am That I Am Church in Spring Valley.   Words cannot describe how special of a husband, father, grandfather and friend that he was. His family was everything to him, but he especially loved his grandchildren. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and never met a stranger. He was a talented carpenter, always building special things for his family.

The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. May 2 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Linda Vickers officiating.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Flora Mae (Rivers) Madden, and grandson, Branden Ronnenkamp.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife and best friend of 47.5 years, Jane Washburn Madden; children, Tracy Westendorf (husband, Robert) and Danny Ray Madden II (wife, Shanna); grandchildren, Kayla Beth Ronnenkamp, Joshua Daniel McDonald, Danny Ray Madden III (wife, Skyler), Zachery Madden, Annah Madden, Mathew Madden, Gavin Self, Tori Smith, Kristin Ables and Jayce Ables; great-grandchildren Conner Applegate, Caden Westendorf, Acacia Ronnenkamp and Danny Ray Madden IV; three sisters, Mary Sue Hayse, Emma Lawrence and Sherry Eastridge (husband, Tommy); brother-in-law Douglas Washburn (wife, Vickie); grandchildren’s mothers, Julie Ables and Stephanie Staggs (husband Shannon); and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff, nurses and doctors in the Helen Keller Emergency Room for all of their thoughtfulness and efforts.
