Steve Lolley announces Senate run
At the March 23 Russellville City Council meeting, guest speaker Steve Lolley introduced himself to the crowd and council. Lolley announced he is running for State Senate District 6 on the Republican ticket.
District 6 includes Franklin County as well as parts of Marion, Lauderdale, Lawrence and Colbert counties.
“I want to help in any way I can. I want to be a part of the community,” Lolley said.
He said he believes the way someone runs their campaign is how they should run their office. According to Lolley, he has been hitting the pavement 40-50 hours a week campaigning, and he said he will work just as hard, if elected.
