Betty Jean Malone, age 85, of Russellville, passed away March 7 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Mrs. Malone was the youngest of eight children and was born July 12, 1932, to John and Allie Enlow in Franklin County. She loved her husband, her children and her grandchildren very much. The family fondly remembers her being a great cook and spending time with her in the kitchen making wonderful meals and desserts. She loved to go on family vacations, especially to the beach.

A graveside service only will be at 11 a.m. March 9 at Franklin Memory Gardens with Bro. Sammy Taylor officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bobby Saint Malone; father, John Enlow; mother, Allie Peake Enlow; and four brothers and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Pam Jones (husband Terry) and Jan Benton (husband Randy); grandchildren, Kelli Smartt (husband John), Chris Malone (girlfriend Laura) and David “Sandy” Cochran (wife Lisa); sister-in-law, Hilma Mae Morrow; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Terry Jones, Randy Benton, David Cochran, Chris Malone and John Smartt.
