Hazelene Henson Hendrix
Hazelene Henson Hendrix, 85, passed away Oct. 19 at Shoals Hospital, Muscle Shoals. She was born in Alabama and was a homemaker. She was a member of Belgreen Baptist Church.
Services will be Oct. 21 at noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Loyd Ray Griffus officiating. Burial will be in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Joyce Henson; Rick Henson and wife Scarlot, Nickey Henson and wife Dianne, Conita Grigsby and husband Steve, Todd Henson and wife Tonya, Lisa Wood and husband Glenn and Joyce Henson; a host of great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and her lifelong neighbor, friend and caregiver, Gerald Ray Hester and his wife Kathy Hester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carnie O. “Dick” Hendrix, her parents, Albert M. Henson and Esther Bolton Henson, two brothers, Albert Henson and Herbert Henson and wife Eva Henson, and a nephew, Donald Henson.
Pallbearers will be Rayburn Massey, Gerald Ray Hester, Rick Henson, Todd Henson, Billy Bolton and Brad Bolton.
Visitation will be Oct. 21, 11 a.m. to noon at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
