Raymond A. Hall
Raymond A. Hall, 82, of Russellville, passed away Aug. 21 at ECM Hospital in Florence.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force (serving from 1954-1974), Mr. Hall retired and returned to his hometown of Russellville. He worked locally at U.S. Reduction and 30 years at the Russellville Post Office.
He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved Russellville and the many friends whom he had made over the years. He is fondly remembered for his smile, his jovial personality and for his gift of never meeting a stranger.
Visitation for Mr. Hall will be Aug. 24 from 5-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will be held Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Wade Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Scott Hall, Michael Hall, Adam Hall and Bryan Hall. Honorary bearers will be his great-grandsons, Colton, Braden and Austin.
Mr. Hall is survived by his sons: Don and wife Kathy Dale, Ron and wife Elke and Duane and wife Kathy Kilpatrick; grandchildren: Scott and wife Ann Hall, Heather and husband Steven Clemmons, Michael and wife Lori Hall, Bryan Hall and Adam and wife Sara Hall; and great-grandchildren: Carrie Smith, Brooklyn Hall, Colton Sweat, Braden Sweat, Austin Hall, Gabbie Clemmons and Harper Hall. A sister, Pat McCracken, also survives him.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Nellie Faye Hall, in 2005; parents, Russell and Edna Shelton Hall; and brothers, Wayne and Billy Hall.
