Allen Galloway
Allen Galloway, age 62, Orange Community, passed away Aug. 6 at his home.
He was a member of Waldrop Freewill Baptist Church, where he had served as a Sunday School teacher and deacon. He worked in the construction business and the mobile home industry.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Pierce Galloway; children, Dale Galloway and wife Amanda, Shawn Galloway and Brian Galloway and wife Heather; mother, Sydera Galloway; brothers, Mack Galloway, Stan Galloway, Danny Galloway, Ronnie Galloway and Gill Galloway; and grandchildren, Makenzie Galloway, Dakota Galloway, Meredyth Galloway and Nick Galloway.
He is preceded in death by his father, James (Jim) Galloway.
Visitation will be Aug. 8 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will be Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. at Waldrop Freewill Baptist Church. He will be laid in state from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Officiating the service will be Jeff Boyles, Hugh Cavendar and Dale Galloway. Burial will follow in East Franklin Cemetery, Phil Campbell.
Serving as pallbearers are Kermit Garrison, Kenny Roberts, Harold Boyett, Hue Raburn, Van Pierce and Adam Hogan.
Honorary pallbearers are Allen’s two grandsons, Dakota and Nick Galloway.
