Submit projects now for Day of Caring

United Way of Northwest Alabama is seeking volunteer projects from local nonprofit and human service agencies for the 2017 Day of Caring, an opportunity for nonprofit agencies to utilize volunteer resources to benefit their organizations and have projects completed that they might not otherwise have the ability to fulfill.

Projects in the past have included outdoor work, such as landscaping and gardening; indoor jobs, such as painting and cleaning; and assisting the people you serve with activities or events.

All nonprofit organizations in Colbert, Lauderdale and Franklin counties are invited to submit a project request. Agencies do not have to be current United Way partners, but they do have to be an official 501(c)(3).
