Patricia Ann Russell

Patricia Ann Russell, fondly known as Patsy, passed away July 18 at her residence. A native of Franklin County, she was a member of Isbell Methodist Church and was retired from Russellville City Schools, where both students and employees grew to love her friendly smile and her good cooking.

Visitation will be July 22 at Pinkard Funeral Home from 10:15-11 a.m. with services to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with Michael Cole officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville. Pallbearers include Brent Clement, Marty Corbell, Andy Laster, Gerald King, Jimmy Murphree and Ronnie Morrow.

Survivors include her husband, James Russell; sons, James P. “Snowball” Russell and wife Brenda and Alan Keith Russell; granddaughter, Christie Ford; step-granddaughter, Dana Moles; great-grandson, Christopher Ford; step-great-granddaughters, Michaela (Holland) Taylor and Macy Thomas; and nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ieva Corbell Laster, and sister, Peggy Willis.

The family would like to especially thank Dr. Morrow and his staff, Hospice of North Alabama and her nurse Kasie for the special care and attention given to Patsy’s needs during this difficult time.
