Rodney O. Steele

Rodney O. Steele, born Nov. 26, 1947, in Phil Campbell to G.V. Steele and Rosa Mae Holland Steele, passed away June 7 at the age of 69. He requested his body be cremated and no service be held.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Davis and brother-in-law Jerry Davis.

Survivors include his wife Paulette Steele; sons Chad Steele and wife Pam and Wesley Steele and wife Gena; stepdaughter Sarah Jackson; sister Alice Hornsby and husband Dub; brother Charles Steele and wife Phyllis; four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rodney lived most of his life in Hamilton, where he had many close friends.
