Sandra J. Rouse
Sandra J. Rouse, 73, passed away June 15 at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. She was born in Belmont, Miss, to Curtis and Gertie South Byram. She worked as a nuclear health physics technician. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Red Bay.
Funeral services were held June 19 at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Bill Harper and Bishop Duffy Pingree officiating. Burial was in Belmont Memory Gardens.
She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Dameron of Knoxville, Tenn., and Conna Humphres and husband Eddie, of Red Bay; five grandchildren, Brian Humphres and wife Cassidy, Brandon Humphres, April Humphres, Curtis Dameron and Amber Ashley; six great-grandchildren, Mason, Millie, Isaiah and Zara Humphres and Bryson and Trea Brazil; and one sister-in-law, Joan Pingree.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Rouse; her daughter, Casendra Pruitt; and her parents.
Pallbearers were Curtis Dameron, Brian Humphres, Brandon Humphres, Ben Pingree, Duffy Pingree and Matthew Walters.
Visitation was June 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
