Donna McKinney
Donna McKinney, 53, passed away May 17 at her residence. She was born in Red Bay and was a beautician and salon manager for 15 years. She attended the Church of God.
Services were held May 19 at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Billy Allen and Donald Grimes officiating. Burial was in Sparks Chapel Cemetery, Vina.
Survivors are her mother – Mary Sue McKinney, Red Bay; three sisters – Susan Puckett and husband Gary, Red Bay, Michell Simpson, Hartselle, and Sandy Sartin, Tremont, Miss.; three nieces – Taylor Hendrix, Tessie Simpson and MaKayla Sartin; one nephew – Tarin Puckett; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert J. “Bubbles” McKinney; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. McKinney and Mr. and Mrs. Haston Taylor; and a niece, Kasie Sartin.
Pallbearers were Tarin Puckett, Eric Hendrix, Terry Sartin, Erik Miller, Norris Lewey and Marty Emerson.
Visitation was May 18 from 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
