Willodean Rice Nix
Willodean Rice Nix, age 85, Phil Campbell, passed away May 16 at her residence.
The visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. May 18 at Liberty Hill Church, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. with Bro. Bobby Joe Poss officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Rice; mother, Lethia Rice; brothers, O’Neal Rice and Addison Rice; and grandchildren, Daniel Lackey, Patricia Lackey and Landon Nix.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 66 years, Carl E. Nix; children, James Nix and wife Tammy, Mike Nix and wife Donna, Danny Nix and wife Gena, Victor Nix and Phyllis Nix Lackey; grandchildren, Whitney and husband Burt Hutcheson, Hannah and husband Chase Oliver, Austin Nix, Shoshana Reeves, Jason and wife Felica Ayers, Chris Nix, Drew and wife Amanda Nix and Brett and wife Nicole Nix; great-grandchildren, Emma and Easton Hutcheson, Raylee Oliver, TJ Reeves, Abbigail Nix, Isasc Nix and Lucus Nix; brothers, Ramond and wife Bobbie Rice, JP and wife Ann Rice and Thomas and wife Mary Rice; sister, Louise and husband Don Cook; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Austin Nix, Chris Nix, Drew Nix, Burt Hutcheson, Jason Ayers and Chase Oliver.
