Joyce Nadine Hill

Joyce Nadine Hill, age 86, passed away peacefully May 15 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
She was married for 67 years to her late husband, Robert Hill. They made their home and raised their family in Russellville. Joyce was a loving, dedicated and supportive wife and homemaker and was known for her love and devotion to her children. Her life’s joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, on whom she showered her love and attention. She was a godly influence in the lives of her family and was a faithful member of Jonesboro Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities, including that of a deacon’s wife.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hill; her parents, Ross and Mary Pounders; brother, Chester Pounders; and sisters, Inez King, Irene Conner and Elvera Cornelius.
She is survived by her children: Peggy and husband Pete Black of Tuscumbia and Chris and wife Lori Hill of Russellville. Grandchildren are Lorie Robbins and husband Josh, Craig Black and wife Monica and Brent Black. Great-grandchildren include Keslie, Kanen, Kinzie and Aidan Robbins, and Chaney Beth and Briley Black.
Visitation with the family will be May 18 from noon until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. Services will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Keith Prince officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville.
Pallbearers will include Craig Black, Brent Black, Josh Robbins, Kanen Robbins and James Hester.
