Ollie Mae Ezzell Holt

Ollie Mae Ezzell Holt, 87, passed away May 8 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County and worked as a purchasing agent for Falcon Industries, Belmont, Miss. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Services were May 12 at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Scot George officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Site Cemetery, Red Bay.

She is survived by two children, Jeffrey W. Holt (Terry J.) and Jennifer M. Holt McCurry and husband Jason, all of Red Bay; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Dustin Holt, Amberly Elizabeth Holt Cherry and husband Michael, Courtlyn Gabrielle Holt, Joseph Alan Hisaw and wife Candace and Lacy Upton; four great-grandchildren, Lindy Elizabeth Cherry, Sadie Mae Cherry, Addison Cheyenne Hisaw and Gabriella Brook Hisaw; and one sister, Sybil Ezzell Chessor.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Willis Holt, her parents James Arthur Ezzell and Zadie McKinney Ezzell, a granddaughter Amanda Noelle Holt, two sisters Bernice Ezzell Sykes and Marvalene Ezzell and a brother Arlis M. “Bill” Ezzell.

Pallbearers were Dustin Holt, Amberly Holt Cherry, Keith Sykes, Gerald Collum, Gordon George and Michael Cherry. Honorary pallbearer was Sammy McKinney.

Visitation was held May 11 from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
