Julia “Dean” O’Neal

Julia “Dean” O’Neal, 81, passed away April 30 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi, and was retired from Gates Corporation, Red Bay.

Services will be May 3, 1 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Ray Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

She is survived by four children – Charnne Frazier of Lakeland, Fla., Deborah Hicks of Madison, Dewayne O’Neal of Russellville and Robin O’Neal (Sunnie) of Bowling Green, Fla.; grandson – Matthew Young and wife Kelly and daughter Kathleen and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters – Billy Ginn of Cherokee, Shirley Ginn Thorn of Tishomingo, Miss., Doyle Ginn of Red Bay and Joan Ginn Mize of Juneau, Alaska; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas “Tom” O’Neal Sr.; a son, William Thomas O’Neal Jr.; and a sister, Elaine Ginn Murphy.

Visitation will be May 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
