Jerry M. Tucker

Jerry M. Tucker, 74, passed away April 18 at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born in Cullman and worked in logging for 40 years.

Services were held April 21 at 1 p.m. at New Union Missionary Baptist Church, Red Bay, with Bro. Clint Holcombe and Bro. Cody Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are his wife, Imogene Tucker, Red Bay; five children – Michael Tucker and wife Donna, Joseph Tucker and wife Bridget and Phillip Tucker, all of Vina, Phyllis Haithcock and husband Larry of Red Bay and Jason Tucker and wife Alexia of Dennis, Miss.; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Tucker and Carl Tucker; and four sisters, Brenda, June, Sandra and Kathy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Tucker and Juanita Hall Tucker; a daughter, Donna Jean Tucker; a grandson, Justin Tucker; and siblings, Thomas, Linda and Randy.

Pallbearers were Michael Tucker, Joseph Tucker, Phillip Tucker, Larry Haithcock, Hunter Haithcock and Bradley Tucker.

Visitation was April 20 from 6-9 p.m. at New Union Missionary Baptist Church.
