Mable Elizabeth Herring
Mable Elizabeth Herring, age 86, Phil Campbell, passed away April 1 at her residence.
Mrs. Herring was a member of First Baptist Church of Phil Campbell and worked as church librarian. She worked as a librarian clerk at Northwest-Shoals Community College until early 2015. She loved and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ, and she showed that love to all she met.
The visitation will be 1-2 p.m. April 4 at First Baptist Church of Phil Campbell, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Herring; son-in-law, Larry Meadows; father, George Allen Dugger; mother, Ella Verta Thompson Dugger; and sister, Margene Snider.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Thomas Stephen Herring Sr. and wife Debbie, Barbara Peppers and husband Rick, Karen Embry and husband Alan, Bryan Herring and Gina Meadows; grandchildren, Stacey Fretwell and husband Robert, Thomas Stephen Herring Jr. and wife Ashley, Angie Scruggs and husband Robby, Dusti Monk and husband Thomas, Chris Herring, Leanne Cole and husband James, Ethan Herring and wife Lyndsay, Lauren Meadows, Traci Meadows and Scott Meadows; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Dugger; and several nieces and nephews.
