Martha Elizabeth Smith Wheeler

Martha Elizabeth Smith Wheeler, age 79 of Russellville, passed away March 1 at her residence.

Visitation will be March 3 from 6-9 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will be March 4 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Oldag officiating. Burial will be in McWright Cemetery.

Martha was a member of Quinn Memorial Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Minnie Dora Smith, brother Earl Smith, sister Daphine Copeland and brother-in-law Millard Copeland.

Martha is survived by her husband of 62 ½ years Nolon Wheeler Jr., son Greg Wheeler, daughters Joni Wheeler and Anna McCarley and husband Brian, sister Janice Riner and husband Douglas, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many much-loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Hershel Garrison, Jaimie Copeland, Hudson Copeland, Jerry Hitt, Jimmy Hitt and Doug Smith.
