Barbara Ann Monroe
Barbara Ann Monroe, age 71, Russellville, passed away Feb. 26 after an extended illness. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
The visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 28 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. March 1 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Darren Woodruff officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Mt. Star Community.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin F. Monroe; her daughter, Karen Leah Monroe; and parents, Clyde and Mary Lou Watson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Robin Brackin and husband Brian of Phil Campbell, Teresa Hamilton and husband Timothy of Spruce Pine, Alvin F. Monroe II and wife Sandra of Polk City, Fla., and Marilyn Monroe of Russellville; grandchildren, Whitney Flewwing, Alissa Fretwell, Tyler Foster, Daniel Foster, Ethan Foster, David Monroe, Elizabeth Monroe, Kristen Bolton, Ryan Bolton and Karli Monroe; great-grandchildren, Kendrick Wilson, Noah Flewwing, Kayleigh Foster, Brooklyn Foster and Bailey Foster; brother, Jack Watson; sisters, Mildred Scott, Martha Eddy and Kathryn Osterman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
