Floyce Jean Carnes Swindle
Floyce Jean Carnes Swindle, 82, formerly of Red Bay, took her first steps to heaven Feb. 16. She was retired as a salesperson with Sears after 32 years.
Graveside services were Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay, with Bro. Mitch Nethery, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Red Bay, officiating.
She is survived by her husband – James Doyle Swindle; a son – Thomas Swindle and wife Linda; a daughter – Melissa Daniels and husband Ricky); a granddaughter – Katherine Fesmire and husband Eric; a grandson – Adam Kowing and wife Jessie; a sister – Lurlene Burmster, Lafayette, La.; several nieces and nephews; and a large extended family and friends.
Visitation was Feb. 19, noon to 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
