Vernon E. Lovett

Vernon E. Lovett, age 83 of Russellville, passed away Feb. 16 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

Visitation will be Feb. 18 from 2-4 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro.James McCullar officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lois Lovett; one brother, James Lovett; and his father and mother-in-law, Dock and Velma Davis.

Vernon was survived by his wife of 58 years, Lera Lovett; his son, Ronnie Lovett; his daughter, Shannon Smith and husband Melvin; his sisters, Floy Mae Tidwell and husband Radford and Jessie Faye Ellenburg; and grandchildren Alexander Smith and Lauren Lovett.
