Demple Kent Paden
Demple Kent Paden, 92, passed away Feb. 8 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Mississippi and was a homemaker.
Graveside services was held Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. at Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss., with Bro. Nathan Hodum officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.
Survivors are her husband of 74 years – Earl Paden, Red Bay; daughter – Joan Ray and husband Joe, Skiatook, Okla.; four grandchildren – Bryan Ray, Shane Ray, Monica Ray Grein and Jeff Middleton; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lavelle Thornburg, Amory, Miss.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Paden, her parents, Jim Kent and Edar Roberts Kent; and brothers and sisters, Avoe Pounders, Delmer Kent, Vernelle Long, Nettie Roberts and Carrie Farris.
Pallbearers were Floyd Paden, Joe Ray, Jeffery Middleton, Bryan Ray, Charles Paden, Tristan Middleton and Blaize Middleton.
