ServSafe class to be held in Russellville

For people in the restaurant and food service industry who need to learn basic safety practices for preparing and serving food, a special class is being offered through the Franklin County Extension.

The ServSafe class, set for Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 pm. (the second session for testing) will be held at the Franklin County Extension meeting room, in the basement of the Franklin County Courthouse. Cost is $125, paid by cashier’s check or money order.

Regional Extension Agent Susan Hill will conduct the class.
