Amelia Gail Amos

Amelia Gail Amos, age 76, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Jan. 20. Visitation was Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon at Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church with service to follow at noon at the church. She was a member of Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church. Officiating will be Brother Tony Gasaway and Brother Stanley Hargett.

Mrs. Amos was preceded in death by her parents, Fernander and Emmie Moland, her son David Amos and her eight sisters.

Survivors are husband Billy Amos of 61 wonderful years; son Donny Amos and wife Janice; daughter Debra Amos and fiancé Bobby Norwood; sister Carol Amos and husband Elton; grandchildren Scotty and wife Lesley, Rory and wife Jessica Amos, Josh and wife Danielle Amos, Amanda and husband Chris Bernard, Ryan and wife Tiffany Bain and Samantha Bain; and 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Scotty Amos, Rory Amos, Josh Amos, Ryan Bain, Christopher Amos and Tyler Amos. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church and Elton Amos.

Mrs. Amos devoted her life to take care of her beloved son of 47 years David Amos.

Memorials can be made to the Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund: Bethsaida Baptist Church, 10415 Hwy 48, Russellville, AL 35654.
