Betty W. Collier

Betty W. Collier, 65, passed away Jan. 3 at her residence. She was born in Russellville and was a homemaker.

Services were held Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Adam Pharr officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are her husband of 50 years – Rudy Collier, Red Bay; one daughter – Jenny Irvin and husband Johnny Mayhall, Red Bay; three grandchildren – Rebecca Duke and husband Justin, Pamela Irvin and Trenity Mayhall; six great-grandchildren; two sisters – Charlene Seal, Bear Creek, and Gwen Williams, Golden, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Whitlock and Mary Vernon Suddith Whitlock; a daughter, Amanda Collier; and seven brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers were Justin Duke, Austin Milam, Freddie Saint, Chris Barksdale, Sandy Seal and Stanley Seal.

Visitation was Jan. 6, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
