Barbara Gail Blackburn

Barbara Gail Blackburn, 64, passed away Dec. 23 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County to Melvin and Hessie Mitchell Humphres. She was a beautician for 46 years and was a member of Altar Baptist Church.
Services will be Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Jerry Humpries, Bro. Tim Deaton and Bro. Billy Turbyfill officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, J.C. Blackburn of Red Bay; two daughters, Lisa Turbyfill and husband Billy and Karen Deaton and husband Tim, all of Red Bay; four grandchildren, Jordan Turbyfill, Bailey Turbyfill, Destiny Deaton and Ashlyn Deaton; one brother, Wade Humphres and wife Linda of Red Bay; her mother, Hessie Humphres of Red Bay; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Copeland, Jeff Stephens, Jonathan Humphres, Burt Burks, Jerry Burks, June Holland, Carl Hall and Wayne Emerson.
Visitation was Dec. 26 from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
