Patricia “Pat” Raper

Patricia “Pat” Raper, 64, passed away Dec. 18 at Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Detroit, Mich., to Charles Buford and Josephine Epsy Cox Watson. She was an industrial seamstress.

Services will be Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Ronald Dillard officiating. Burial will be in Shottsville Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Chad Aaron Raper and Jody Wayne Raper, both of Vina; seven grandchildren, Ethan Hammock, Tyler Hammock, Josee Williams, Hayden Raper, Brody Raper, Madison Raper and Gracie Raper; one great-grandson, Chance Hester; one sister, Judy Lofton of Vina; two brothers, David Watson and James Watson, both of Vina; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Crystal Raper; and one brother, Ricky Watson.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Anthony Watson, Wayne Watson, Tyler Hammock, Ethan Hammock, Blake Darrocott and Hayden Raper.

Visitation will be Dec. 20 from 4-6 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
