Afternoon of hope with Brenda Ladun

After holding their kick-off event on Oct. 28, the Franklin County Relay For Life Committee will be hosting its first fundraising event this Saturday.

Award winning news anchor and breast cancer survivor Brenda Ladun will be speaking at First Baptist Church in Russellville at 11 a.m. on Nov. 15.

American Cancer Society community representative Anna Duncan said this would be a special event for all members of the community, but it is especially uplifting for those who are cancer survivors.

Tickets for this event are only $10, and all proceeds go to support the Franklin County Relay For Life. See any Franklin County Relay For Life Committee member or team captain to purchase a ticket. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
