Saloane Brewer Sutton

Saloane Brewer Sutton

October 5, 2014

Saloane Brewer Sutton, 45, Russellville, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at North Mississippi Medical Center.

Saloane was wife and best friend to Jerry; cherished friend, role model and mother to Kalli; and beloved daughter and sister to her family. Saloane’s loving heart brightened the life to all who were blessed to call her friend, co-worker, or family.  Love of her family was second only to that of her love for Jesus Christ. Her organizational skills were the combination of Martha and Mary. She was the first to respond if you had a need, bringing food, hugs, smiles, and Christian love, but she never faltered in the knowledge of what our greatest need is, FAITH IN JESUS. This faith brought her through her medical challenges with grace and quiet dignity.  Saloane was a true example of a Christian wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  As beautiful inside as out. Her testimony will live on in our memories forever. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Go rest high, sweet Saloane, we will miss you, but our lives will forever be richer because you were a part of us.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 07, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 08, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Bro. Thomas Thornton and Bro. Richard Parker will officiate at the service.  Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry “Bull” Sutton; daughter, Kalli Jean Sutton (husband, Colby); parents, William Travis and Myra Brewer; sister, Lavonda Kay Brewer; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe & Ruby McNatt; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Claude & Jean Sutton.

The pallbearers will be Melvin Smith, Alexander Smith, Dallas Bragwell, Bryan Sutton, Randy Shaw, Craig Grissom, Charlie Canida, Terry Pounders, Randy Seal, and Kevin Smith.  The honorary pallbearers will be Russell Thorn and the Russellville Electric Board Members.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a memorial to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908; The Gideons International, Franklin East Camp, P.O.
