Red Bay hosts golf tournament

The Red Bay girl’s golf team placed third last Tuesday in the Red Bay Invitational golf tournament.

The Tigers shot a 346 behind second-place Colbert Heights, who shot a 342. Central’s girls placed first with a 297. Tishomingo County shot a 390.

Red Bay’s Anna Seahorn, who was the medalist for the match, shot an 88.

Seahorn joined Rachel May (94), Edee Price (99) and Haley Crosby (101) as members of the All-Tournament team.

Booneville won first place in the boy’s match with a 348. Central placed 2nd with a 349.

Red Bay, Deshler, Mooreville, Colbert County, Belmont, and Tishomingo County all competed in the Red Bay boy’s Invitational.

Central’s Austin Gean was the Medalist.

The All-Tournament team included Red Bay’s Isaiah Jackson, who shot a 77, Tate Dickerson from Booneville, who also shot a 77, Kris Burden from Deshler with an 80, and Colbert County’s Tyler Jeffreys who shot an 82.

Red Bay will compete against Russellville on April 10 at Twin Pines Country Club.
