For the second straight weekend, the Phil Campbell Bobcats bass fishing team has finished in first place in the BCDA Trail events.

Last week the anglers fished on Upper Bear Creek Lake. This week they were casting on Little Bear Lake.

Anglers participating in the event were from Belgreen, Colbert Heights, Muscle Shoals, Phil Campbell and Russellville.

The Phil Campbell team fished their first Alabama Student Anglers Bass Fishing Association (ASABFA) tournament on Lake Eufaula on February 15.

The next BCDA tournament will be on Big Bear Lake on April 5.

The Bobcat bass fishing team will compete on Wheeler Lake on April 12 and there will be a BCDA Classic on Cedar Creek Lake on May 5.
