Police search for robbery suspect
Raymond Perez is wanted by the RPD for theft and robbery.
The Russellville Police Department is searching for a local man wanted in connection with an assault and robbery that took place early Friday.
Raymond Perez, 21, 600 E. Franklin St., Russellville, is wanted on charges of second-degree robbery and second-degree theft of property, Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said.
According to Hargett, Perez is accused of entering a residence in the 600 block of Franklin Street in Russellville about 1 a.m. Friday and physically assaulting a man in the residence.
Hargett said the victim and Perez were acquaintances.
Police investigator Lt. Scotty Lowery said Perez also allegedly stole a .25 caliber handgun, an Apple IPAD, and $110 in cash from the victim during the assault.
Lowery said the Perez’s whereabouts are unknown at this time.
Authorities said Perez should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
