RHS awards players at annual banquet

The following Russellville High School football players were recognized at the annual football banquet on Jan. 26 at the A.W. Todd Centre in Russellville:

• Senior Academic Recognition: Braxton Dempsey, Colton Hargett, Chase Holland, Damian McGlaughn, and Louis Monterroso

• Most Improved Freshman: Payton Nichols, Judd Ward, Austin Stid ham, Cody Greenhill, Caleb Garrison, Slate Wallace, Khem West, and Sid Willis
• All-County Team: Tyrone Wilson, Austin Kitterman, Clay McNatt, Deyon Hill, Reed Smith, Hayden Evans, and Jalen Scott-Honorable Mention Defense

• All-State Team: Clay McNatt-Honorable Mention

• Perseverance: Chris Owen

• Special Teams: Clay McNatt

• Specialist: Reed Smith and Austin Bohannon

• Special Forces: Shemar Hamilton and Blake Bendall

• Blue Collar: Chris Hill, Matthew Davidson, and Jesse Vincent

• Most Improved Sophomore: JJ Johnson, Cameron DeArman, Jared Thornton, and Austin Bohannon

• Comeback: Colton Hargett

• Most Outstanding Sophomore: Tyrone Wilson, Austin Kitterman, Reed Smith, and Deyon Hill

• Scrambler: Louis Monterroso and Hayden Evans

• Most Improved Junior: Hunter James, Arman Norris, Zack Garrison, and Christian Foster

• Most Outstanding Junior: Blake Bendall and Colby Tompkins

• Most Improved Senior: Chase Holland, Braxton Dempsey, Damian McGlaughn, Tashun Abernathy, and Elvis Ambrosio
