The Red Bay Lady Tigers used dominant first and third quarters to cruise past Phil Campbell Friday night with a score of 53-30.

In typical Red Bay fashion, it was relentless pressure defense, solid outside shooting and a tough inside game that guided their path.

The Tigers opened up a 20-8 first quarter lead. The Bobcats cut the lead to 28-19 at halftime. The Tigers came out of the locker room and outscored the Bobcats 14-2 in the third quarter to take a 42-21 lead into the final period of play.

Red Bay’s Kasey Sparks led all scorers with 15 points. Also scoring in double digits for the Lady Tigers were Carlee Berry (12) and Allie Kennedy (11). Others scoring for Red Bay were Elizabeth Wooten (6), Darby Madden (5), Brooklyn Bolton (2), and Katie Burks (2).
