Jacky Waymon Griffus, 62, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 at Generations of Red Bay. He was born Dec. 23, 1950 in Alabama and had been an employee at NTN Bower.

Graveside services were Wednesday, December 11, at Shottsville Cemetery, Vina, with Zach Griffus officiating. Burial was in Shottsville Cemetery.

Survivors are one son, Zach Griffus and wife, Jamie Haleyville; two grandchildren, Kenan and Zoe Griffus; one brother, Bob Griffus, Florence; two sisters, Shirley Michael, Vina, and Jeanette Sutton, Florence; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wesley Griffus and Ruby Emerson Griffus.

Visitation was Tuesday, December 10, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
