Thomas Allen “Tommy” Wood, 47, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012, at Russellville Hospital.

Tommy was a native of Chicago, Illinois, but had lived most of his life in Franklin County. He was a 1984 graduate of Belgreen High School and a member of the Franklin County Rescue Squad. He attended North Russellville Baptist Church.

A graveside service was held Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Franklin Memory Gardens with Hoyt W. Burfield officiating.

He is survived by cousins, John W. Wood and wife, Mary Leigh, Mary F. Burfield and husband, Hoyt W., Ann Bailey and husband, Donald R.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas C. and Martha Wood.

Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
