Vicky Jo Bishop Nixon, formerly of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012.

She was a graduate of Russellville High School and Florence State College (UNA). She resided in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico for the past 35 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Lauren Nixon; mother, Dolly Bishop; sisters, Janet Torstenson and husband, Ray, Angie Kimbrough and husband, Mike; brothers Tommy Bishop and wife, Nelda, Billy Bishop and wife, Deborah, Frank Bishop and wife, Linda, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Dr. Carl Nixon; father, Guy Bishop; brother, Jim Bishop.

A memorial service was held in her honor in Morelia, Mexico.
