Chris Underwood, 41, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a native of Red Bay and was an employee of Max Home in the shipping department.

Services were Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Gene Cooley officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are his wife, Kim Underwood, Golden, Miss.; three children, Jason Underwood, Jessica Underwood and C.J. Underwood; his mother, Lillian Underwood, Golden, Miss.; three brothers, Roger Parker and Ronnie Parker, both of Golden, Miss. and Michael Underwood, Belmont, Miss.; one sister, Amy Underwood, Golden, Miss.; his father and mother-in-law, Donald and Janice Garrett, Red Bay; brother-in-law, Donald W. Garrett, Vina, and two sisters-in-law, Angie Garrett, Vina, and Elizabeth Seats and Captain Mike Harker, Heights, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Morgan Gerald Underwood and a son, Christopher Underwood.

Pallbearers were Shane Clements, Robert Garrett, Mike Seats, Donald Garrett and Shannon Clements.
