Jackie Richeson, 81, of Spruce Pine, passed away Feb. 29, 2012.

Funeral services were Friday, March 2, 2012, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Jerome Sherrrill officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

She was a native of Franklin County, a graduate of Belgreen High School, retired from AT&T and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Spruce Pine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald O. Richeson; father, Hubert H. Hester; mother, Audrey Jane Hester; and sister, Marie Greenhill.

Survivors include brother, Felix Andrew Hester, Greenback, Tenn.; sister, Ruth Allie Vee Hull and husband, Floyd, Birmingham; devoted and loved son, Alan Newell, Spruce Pine.

A special thanks to caregivers, Tabitha Chandler and Michelle Ashley; also, Hospice, Sheila Thompkins, Rebecca Postell, Steven Butler, Vanessa Joiner, Michelle Atkins, Stephanie Graham and Rebecca Jaggers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Spruce Pine.
