Wilbie Turbyfill, 77, of Vina, Ala. died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Community Hospice, Verona, Miss.  She was a native of Mississippi and a homemaker.  She was a member of Pilot Hill Baptist Church, Vina, Ala.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 14, 2011 at Pilot Hill Baptist Church with Bro. A. H. Akins officiating.  Burial was in Pilot Hill Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala. assisted the family.

She is survived by five children, Carolyn Webb and husband, Robert, of Tupelo, Bill Turbyfill, Tommy Turbyfill and Anna Wooten and husband, Ronnie, all of Vina, Ala. and Susie Shaw and husband, Phillip, of Red Bay, Ala.; three brothers, Alvin Pharr and Billy Joe Pharr, both of Vina, Ala. and Justin Pharr, of Hamilton, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Ricky Lee Ozbirn, Shannon Ozbirn, Billy Turbyfill, Amy Swanson, Savannah Shaw, Steven Turbyfill, Matthew Wooten and Cody Wooten; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurtis Turbyfill; grandson, Shane Ozbirn; and her parents, Joe and Clementine Scott Pharr.
