Icy roads possible Friday morning

The National Weather Service office in Huntsville has issued a special weather statement warning of the potential for icy roads Thursday night and Friday morning across the Tennessee Valley.

A dusting of snow is expected in most communities, which could cause icy patches to form on some roads, meteorologists said.

Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling late Thursday and early Friday, especially when crossing bridges or overpasses where ice is more likely to form.
