RHS duo selected to All-Star Game

Two Russellville High School seniors have been selected to participate in this year's Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Classic, set for June 2 in Mobile.
Offensive lineman Taz Tillery and defensive back Rashad Graham, who helped lead the Golden Tigers to an 11-2 record in 2006, will be suiting up for the Alabama squad.
The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Tillery, who signed with Tennessee-Martin in February, was an All-State selection as a senior. He also participated in the annual North-South All-Star game following his junior season.
Graham, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound Southern Illinois signee, made 62 tackles as a senior and earned himself the Golden Tigers' Hardest Hitter Award.
Tillery and Graham were among 37 of the state's best senior prep football players named to the Alabama roster for the 20th annual Football Classic.
The team will be coached by Bill Clark, who guided Prattville to the 2006 Class 6A state championship. He will be assisted by Stacy Luker of Sweet Water, Danny Powell of Leroy, Ike Grant of LaFayette, Phil Isom of Guntersville, Allen Creasy of Athens and John Grass of Spain Park.
Other players named to the Alabama roster were quarterbacks Larry Smith of Prattville and Jamie Hampton of Cedar Bluff; running backs Joseph Wilson of Opelika, Terrell Edwards of UMS-Wright, Stanley Jones of Houston Academy and Jerrel Jernigan of Eufaula; wide receivers Ralph Spry of Auburn, Justin Diliberto of Spain Park, Quindarius Carr of Huntsville, Brandon Gibson of UMS-Wright and Marquis Maze of Tarrant; punter-kicker Graham Sutter of St. James; offensive linemen Thomas Gray of Vestavia Hills, William Vlachos of Mountain Brook, Patrick Crump of Hoover, Nick Fairley of Williamson, Caleb Thomas of Decatur and Jared Cooper of W.S. Neal; defensive backs William Spight of Jeff Davis, Ricardo Bates of Prattville, Cameron O'Neal of Citronelle, Ryan Williams of B.C.
