RHS boys remain undefeated

The Russellville High School boys tennis team remained unbeaten with Thursday's 8-1 victory over Muscle Shoals.
The Golden Tigers (5-0) won all six singles courts, led by T.J. Drake's 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 win over Aaron Lockhart at No. 1.
Kiefer Rea defeated Karlin Sheffey 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2, and Tyler Malone beat Demetreous Thompson 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3.
Jacob Hill was a 6-0, 6-1 winner over Jordan Brisendine at No. 4, and John Tyler Hardin defeated Tyler Montgomery 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5. Carson Hutchins finished off the singles sweep for Russellville with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Phillip Berryhill at No. 6.
Rea and Malone defeated Thompson and Brisendine 10-1 at No. 2 doubles,, and Hardin and Hutchins beat Montgomery and Berrhyill 10-2 at No. 3 doubles.
In girls action, Muscle Shoals beat Russellville 7-2. Laura Fennel won her singles match for Russellville (2-3), beating Rebecca Brocato 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) at No. 5.
Fennel and Millie Fisher won their No. 3 doubles match, defeating Teri Barnett and Holly Taylor 11-10 (7-3).
