Katie Marjorie Swindle

Katie Marjorie Swindle, age 78, of Red Bay, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007, at North Ms. Medical Center.
Mrs. Swindle was born January 28, 1929, in Alabama to Clarence and Hattie Shewbart Nelson. She was formerly an employee of Blue Bell and was a member of Red Bay Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, A.C. Nelson and Neal Nelson.
Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2007, at Halltown Cemetery with Turner Paseur officiating.
Mrs. Swindle is survived by three children, Jeanette Johnson and husband Nathan, Barbara Keeton and husband Billy, and Donnie Swindle, all of Red Bay; one sister, Marion Orrick of Red Bay; one brother, Hollis Nelson of Florence; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.
