Making progress on Progress

By Staff
Melissa Cason, FCT Writer
Right now we, at The Times, have been busy gathering information, and taking photos to generate our annual progress edition of the newspaper. The 2007 Progress edition will be delivered to our subscribers and available at our newsstand Sunday, Feb. 25.
For the past month, we have been working on stories, photos and other items for this keepsake edition of our paper.
Since I have only been employed with The Times since September, this is my first progress season, and with a week to go, I am tired and extremely stressed out.
While I am stretched to the limit, our editors assure me that on Feb. 26 I will be able to breathe easier.
Progress has been particularly difficult for me because I usually write 10 to 15 stories per week for our newspaper. Adding additional stories to my already demanding workload has me praying for March.
I know that everyone will enjoy this year's edition of our Progress because a lot of thought, planning and work have gone into every aspect of it from the advertising and photos to the writing.
We want you to be proud of your Progress because this edition is all about you and the progress that has been made in our schools, towns, churches and communities.
