Willie Cole

Willie Cole, age 60, of Hackleburg, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007.
Mr. Cole was a native of Hackleburg and a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Sutton officiating. Interment was in Middle Cemetery in Hackleburg.
Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Rosemary Cole; two daughters, Stephanie Gunnin and husband Brian and Savanna Cole, of Hackleburg; a sister, Mary Gann and husband Mack, of Moundville; a brother, James Cole and wife Peggy, of Moundville; a granddaughter, Summer Gunnin, and a grandson, Colby Gunnin; and his loving sisters-in-law, Sue Nell Davis of Phil Campbell, Jereldine Welburn and husband Ed, of Russellville, Inez Ashley of Russellville, Jewel Eakin and husband Jim, of Cleveland, TN, Dorothy South of Russellville, Jo Ann Scott and husband Wayne, of Hackleburg, and Rachael Scott and husband Earl, of Elgin Cross Roads.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.

Willie Victoria Phillips, age 80, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, February 12, 2007, at Antioch Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Russellville. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Thompson and Son Funeral Home assisted the family.
