FBLA preparing for regional competition

The Future Business Leaders of America organization at Russellville High School, along with other FBLA chapters across the county and state, is currently preparing for next month's Regional Competition.
The competition will be held on-line and is scheduled for Feb. 6.
The top three finishers from each school will go to the FBLA State Convention in Birmingham held in April, Deedra Moore, FBLA sponsor, said.
The competition events include desktop publishing, business calculations, word processing one and two, computer applications, business math, spreadsheet applications and banking/financial systems, according to FBLA contest sheets.
All FBLA members travel to the convention to act as a voting delegation as well in addition to competing in the state competition, Moore said.
